Want to get involved in XR NYC’s September campaign? We are looking for street-smart, level-headed, and compassionate folks to take on de-escalation and marshaling roles in order to support a day of direct action for climate justice! We are all crew.

If you’ve ever found yourself confronted by angry bystanders, agitated by counter-protestors, or harassed by the police at a protest or action, you know how important it is to have the care and support of your fellow safety team. Will you help us by taking on one of these critical roles? At this interactive workshop, you will learn practical ways to minimize tension and interference between protestors, police, and bystanders.
