In this training, we will discuss best practices for growing Extinction Rebellion in New York City via flyering, phone banking ahead of large actions, outreach at festivals and events and through neighborhood groups. What are the most effective ways to get new people to join? Which outreach tactics have helped our most successful neighborhood groups to grow? How can we maximize the impact of phone banking and texting for ahead of meetings and actions? This training is open to all XR NYC members. Anyone interested in growing their neighborhood groups is especially encouraged to attend and meet colleagues from other groups and to share what they have learned.
