Now is not the time to be idle, though the pandemic limits us we can take a moment and gather in the spirit of loving-kindness, remembering and honoring some of the lessons that have been brought to light in current events, acknowledging the intersection between climate justice and racial justice, and kick off Love Louder.
Come join us to sit, gather and build our ‘beloved’ community; with the opportunity to connect followed by a mini NVDA training, while paying tribute to Martin Luther King Jr., and Extinction Rebellions’ fourth demand, at the place in NYC where he last spoke,
We demand that the government act now to halt ecological destruction, and form a citizens’ assembly to work toward climate justice for all people and to protect the future for all species.
The meditation will be facilitated by a familiar face, who is part of the new planning circle (let us know if you're interested in being a part of it), but new to facilitating at actions.
As always, masks and social distancing will be required for all in-person events. Please review our Health and Safety Guidelines before attending.
