Please come join us for the first XR NYC Community Gathering of the year. The Community Gathering is a fun, regenerative space for new and existing members of XR to come together and build community, trust and connections. Everyone is welcome!
This month we will be having a potluck and invite everyone to bring a dish or beverage to share, if they are able. The potluck share is not a requirement. The most important thing to bring to the gathering is yourself :)
Reusable cups, plates and cutlery are always welcome to help minimize waste, but these items will be on hand as well. Please provide labeling for any dishes that include gluten, dairy, nuts or meat.
We have many vegans within XR , so while a vegan dish is in no way required, they would be so happy to try your meatless specialty if you have one :)
Loose Schedule for the evening is as follows:
6:30-7p.m. Setup (putting out chairs, food, organization)- If you’d like to arrive closer to 6:30 to hang and help get the event organized, we would love the help!
7p.m.-7:15p.m. Meeting start, Welcome announcement, Group Intention setting (Why are we here)
7:15-8:45p.m. Enjoying the potluck, connecting with fellow XR members
8:45-9:15p.m. Meeting end, cleanup
We invite those new to XR and those who are already involved. We will use this time to foster openness, connection, growth, communication and a sense of play within the XR community.
Childcare will be provided as part of this month’s Community Gathering!
