Meet at Thomas Paine Park, just north of Foley Square (after you support in court if meditation and community helps).
Peacefully take a stand by sitting in meditation with fellow mindful rebels
The climate and ecological emergency is a trauma inflicted on all beings by white supremacy. Our demand for a just transition starts with how we show up in our organizing. As important as an intellectual understanding of racism and the desire to be anti-racist is, these alone will not address the habitual embodiment of racism. In this weekly circle we learn ways to heal from trauma and to unlearn embodied, racialized behaviors.

On September 20th in New York City, as world leaders gather for the UN General Assembly and Climate Week, we will take to the streets for the Make Billionaires Pay March. Part of the global Draw the Line mobilizations (Sept 19–21), this action calls out Trump, authoritarian regimes, and the billionaire class fueling the climate crisis. Through nonviolent protest and mass mobilization, communities across the U.S. are rising up to demand climate justice, economic fairness, and a future where people and planet come before profit. Together, we can build a movement powerful enough to reclaim our future.
Join us for Sun Day NYC on Sunday, Sept 21, 2025 (1–6 PM) at the 15th Street Friends Meetinghouse & Stuyvesant Square Park. Part of a national day of action, this free, family-friendly event celebrates solar and wind energy with community, labor, and climate leaders. Highlights include a welcoming meditation, the Power UP: Speaking Solar panel with Bill McKibben, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, and local policymakers, plus a renewable energy fair with hands-on demos, kids’ activities, and live music. The day closes with Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir. Free admission. All are welcome—rain or shine.

Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action in response to the Trump administration’s targeting of civil and democratic rights which have focused on scapegoating migrants. We’re here to show that the power lies in the people. Join after court watch support and/or Mindful Rebels meditation.
