Social and ecological collapse driven by climate chaos is threatening us all. The enormity of suffering and injustice we face is staggering. On winter solstice, the darkest day of the year, we will sit in silence and stillness, in love and connection, to tell the truth about this crisis and to protect all we hold dear
We will gather at 1221 6th Ave at the plaza on 49th street for a brief centering. We will then walk together in procession to a nearby location to hold our meditation/candlelight vigil. This will be followed by closing words from spiritual and faith leaders.
In a spirit of active hope and solidarity, we will send a clear message: we must wake up and act now.
